Kilt & Tunic Length

Kilt & Tunic Length

Kilts and tunics may not be shorter than 2” above the knee. The student should not bend at the waist while being measured. The kilt waist band should not be below the top of the hip bone.

There are two methods for measuring the length of a kilt or tunic correctly:

  1. While standing straight, measure 2” from the top of the knee cap
  2. With the student on her knees, measure 3” up from the floor
